Privacy Policy

Who we are

ScoreCard is a free resume-scoring tool operated by Ofra LLC ("we," "us"). ScoreCard analyzes your resume and gives you a score with feedback. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights over your data.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you choose to unlock your full breakdown.
• Your resume, when you upload it for scoring. Your resume's text is sent to our AI scoring provider to generate your score and is not stored by us — it exists only briefly in memory during scoring and is then discarded. We do not keep a copy of your resume.
• Your score and results — your overall score, your weakest dimension, the filename of your uploaded resume, a timestamp, and a label marking that the record came from ScoreCard.
• Basic analytics — such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, and which actions you take on the site (for example, uploading a resume or viewing your breakdown). We use this to understand how the tool is used and to improve it.
• Rate-limit data — we temporarily store counts of how many resumes have been scored from your IP address, from your browser, and across the site as a whole, so we can enforce daily limits. These counts are deleted automatically within 48 hours.
• Saved results in your browser — your results are also saved in your browser's local storage, so they're still there if you come back later. This lives on your device, not our servers, and can include short quotes from your resume inside the feedback explanations. Scoring a new resume or clearing your browser data removes it.

Why we collect it

We process your email and results to deliver your score and send you your results. We process analytics data to operate and improve the service. Where required by law (such as the GDPR for users in the EU and UK), our lawful basis for processing your email and results is your consent, which you give at the email step, and our lawful basis for analytics is our legitimate interest in running and improving a free tool.

Who we share it with

We use trusted third-party service providers to run ScoreCard. Your data may be processed by:

• Anthropic — provides the AI that scores your resume (receives your resume text transiently for scoring).
• Airtable — stores your email, score, and results.
• Resend — sends you your results email.
• PostHog — provides analytics across the site, including which pages you visit and the filename of the resume you upload.
• Cloudflare — hosts the website, routes traffic, runs the scoring and email functions, and temporarily stores IP-based rate-limit counts.

Some of these providers are based in the United States, so if you are outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your email and results until you ask us to delete them. Deletion covers our records and the analytics data identified with you. A copy of the results email we send you is kept by our email provider for up to 30 days. Your resume text is never retained. Rate-limit counts are automatically deleted within 48 hours. Analytics data is kept for up to one year.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Delete your personal data.
• Correct inaccurate data.

To make any request, email us at privacy@ofra.careers. We will honor deletion requests. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Age requirement

ScoreCard is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us their data, contact us at privacy@ofra.careers and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top shows the latest version.
